Julie Strawn, CLASP

Julie Strawn presented information from recent work done for Wisconsin by the Center for Law & Social Policy (CLASP) to identify state workforce program policy levers for taking career pathways to scale. To collect this information, CLASP researched state and regional examples relevant to the various components of career pathways. In addition, they compared Wisconsin's RISE elements to various workforce programs to look both for alignment or possible barriers. The effort resulted in two spreadsheets (linked below) that identify career pathway components and key workforce development funding streams, with state policy examples/contact information listed under each.
